About this work

Fragment of woven silk containing six pearl roundels, in sky blue and dark green on a red ground. The top two roundels enclose confronted elephants, the middle two addorsed senmurvs, and the bottom two confronted hippocampi. Four-lobed rosettes with elaborate floriated edges in interspaces.
