Architecture and landscape sketch showing a view of two buildings and a waterfall in or near Martigny, Switzerland. At upper center, a view of the Château de la Bâtiaz, with its tall, central, cylindrical stone tower surrounded by a lower wall, is shown perched atop a rugged prominence. A loose sketch of a small house built into a rocky cliffside situated at center, and distinguished from the other sketches by two horizontal dividing lines above and below it. At lower center and oppositely oriented, a small waterfall is loosely sketched.
