About this work

Landscape and atmosphere sketch showing view of storm clouds over the Blue Mountains, Jamaica. In foreground, brown, rugged mountains extend toward the horizon as they descend to sea level. A hazy, moisture-laden atmosphere obscures mountain contours past middle distance. Above, the sun illuminates the atmosphere in a glowing cream color while a dark, low storm cloud stretches across the upper margin.
