About this work

Design for a diamond-encrusted golden watch hanging from a heavy golden brooch (chatelaine). Ornamented in neo-Renaissance style with pearls and rubies, this stunning jewel features a golden hour-glass and a figure of Father Time holding a scythe. Winged female sea creatures support the brooch and watch case.
