About this work
Blue-gray silk satin damasse with gold and silver metallic brocading. Vertical bands of delicate symmetrical floral decoration set off by narrow stripes, with vertical bands of floral designs in gold and silver brocading. Broad satin selvedges with pink and white stripes. Lined with red silk; edged with galloon of the period.
