About this work
Vertical pattern of continuously curving branches supporting flowers and leaves printed on ivory ground in yellow, red, green, blue, and black on a blue background patterned with red microdots. A complex sequence of printing and dyeing techniques, including resist printing and immersion dyeing were used to create this densely patterned textile.
