About this work

Upright, roughly rectangular form with curved edges at top and bottom; cast decoration of stylized vegetal motifs, the word GUARANTY (for the Guaranty Building, Buffalo, NY (1896, Adler and Sullivan, architects) in oval worked into decoration at top; circular hole for doorknob slightly above center; a small screw hole near each corner.
