5th–6th century · Medium: linen warp; wool and linen weft Technique: two pieces sewn together; the top appliquéd to the bottom. Bottom fabric plain weave with bands of weft loops. Top square of tapestry (plain weave with slits, wrapped warps and slanted wefts).
