About this work
A square bedcover with a wide border on all sides, a central medallion and smaller medallions in each corner, with an allover floral lattice ground. The central medallion contains a double-headed eagle and the corner medallions each contain a fantastic beast. The outer borders are linked repeats of an S-shaped floral vine. All executed in light gold color flax thread on an off-white ground.
