About this work

Circular view of harbor scene with port town. Numerous boats are shown in the harbor including row boats, sailboats, and a sternwheeler centered in the view. Different buildings in the background include a church with steeple and a smokestack. Two figures walk away from the water carrying sails or riggings. The irise sky shades from blue to orange to blue, ground is a medium brown color. The landscape view is contained within a foliated medallion, with foliage and vines at the top, printed in green and brown, while the bottom of the medallion contains tree trunks, lumber, and crates, printed in shades of brown.
