About this work
This spear features a wavy, leaf-shaped iron blade with softly rounded undulations along its entire length. The long, darkened wooden shaft is slender and terminates in an iron butt spike reinforced with a small brass ring. The proportions and materials indicate a weapon that functioned not only for combat but also as a high-status object.
