About this work
The bowl has slightly more detailed surface designs painted in blue under the glaze than some other Yohei III's other teaware, like the Water Cooler with Pines , CMA 2022.163 . The three pines, with two, three, and four racks of boughs respectively, have more angular rather than curved trunks, with clearly articulated bark.
