About this work
Squared, hollow cylinder of the type ts’ung [cong] 琮; projecting squared collar with rounded corners at both ends; perforation conically bored leaving irregularities in interior; sand colored with traces of gray and reddish brown; white incrustation; decoration: channeled and incised, grooves and bands; advanced decomposition leaving rough granular surface and obliterating most of the decoration except on one side. (Breaks and extensive surface erosion.)
