Half-Length Portrait of a Praying Man with His Patron Saint (St. Joseph?)
From the collection of Kunstmuseum Basel. Free to download, adapt and use — no permission needed.
About this work
Presumably formerly the left wing of a triptych, for which the wife of the donor would also be expected as the counterpart, accompanied by her patron saint. Grounding ridges visible on all sides suggest that the half-length format is original.
