About this work
Several depictions of waterfalls belong to the oeuvre of the Zurich landscape painter, the most famous being the "Waterfall near Erlenbach" in the Kunstmuseum Winterthur (Heinz Keller: *Johann Heinrich Wüest. Der Wasserfall bei Erlenbach*, in: *Bericht über die Tätigkeit der Eidgenössischen Kommission der Gottfried-Keller-Stiftung* 1958/59, pp. 81–82).
