Auf einem Abstandshalter im Rahmen ist "L. Morales XVI" notiert. Mit Luis de Morales (vgl. Inv. 446) hat das Bild jedoch nicht viel zu tun. Eher dürfte es in Deutschland um 1600 entstanden sein.
