Candlestand and holder (guéridon)

Martin Carlin · ca. 1730–85 · Oak veneered with tulipwood and amaranth, the marquetry of tulipwood, boxwood, and sycamore. Legs and hub are of solid amaranth; there is a steel shaft; mounts are of gilt bronze.
