About this work
The orbiter Discovery is nearly vertical as overhead cranes lift it in the transfer aisle of the Vehicle Assembly Building. It will then be moved into high bay 1 for mating with its solid rocket boosters and external tank. Discovery will be launched March 8 on mission STS-102, the eighth construction flight to the International Space Station.
