Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — In the transfer aisle of the Vehicle Assembly Building, the orbiter Atlantis is raised to a vertical position via overhead cranes. The orbiter will be rotated and lifted up and over to a high bay and stacked with its external tank and solid rocket boosters.
