About this work
Workers in the Spacecraft Assembly and Encapsulation Facility -2 help guide the solar array just removed from the 2001 Mars Odyssey Orbiter toward a nearby workstand. This will give workers access to other components of the spacecraft and allow inspection of the array. The Mars Odyssey carries three science instruments: the Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS), the Gamma Ray Spectrometer (GRS), and the Mars Radiation Environment Experiment (MARIE).
