About this work
Workers on Launch Pad 17-A, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, keep watch as a solid rocket booster is lifted in between two other SRBs suspended from the gantry. They will be mated with a Delta 7925 rocket for launch April 7, 2001. The rocket will carry the 2001 Mars Odyssey Orbiter, containing three science instruments: THEMIS, the Gamma Ray Spectrometer (GRS), and the Mars Radiation Environment Experiment (MARIE).
