Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — In the transfer aisle of the Vehicle Assembly Building, the orbiter Atlantis is suspended vertically via overhead cranes. The orbiter will be rotated and lifted into high bay 1 where it will be stacked with its external tank and solid rocket boosters.
