Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — With fellow crew members Mission Specialists Rex Walheim and Ellen Ochoa (waving her arm) and a trainer aboard, STS-110 Pilot Stephen Frick stirs up dust behind the M-113 armored personnel carrier as he practices driving it. The training is part of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities, which include emergency egress training and a simulated launch countdown. The TCDT is held at KSC prior to each Space Shuttle flight.
