About this work
Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Raffaello, the MPLM scheduled to fly on the STS-114 Return to Flight mission, is being lowered onto an element rotation stand, formerly used by the MPLM Leonardo, that allows the module to be rotated on its x-axis to facilitate better access during final pre-flight processing operations. STS-114 is a logistics flight (LF1) that will carry the External Stowage Platform plus supplies and equipment to the International Space Station.
