Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — At Launch Pad 17-B, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, the third in the third set of Solid Rocket Boosters (SRBs) for the Boeing Delta II rocket launch of Deep Impact is ready to be lifted and join the other two in the mobile service tower. All three will be mated to the Delta II, joining others for a complement of nine. Launch is scheduled for no earlier than January 8, 2005.
