Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — In the mobile service tower on Launch Pad 17-B at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla., workers begin lowering the Deep Impact spacecraft toward the second stage of the Boeing Delta II launch vehicle below for mating. Next the fairing will be installed around the spacecraft.
