Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — A Solid Rocket Booster destined for the GOES-N launch is moved away from the Receipt Inspection Storage building. It is being transported to Launch Complex 37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station for attachment to the Boeing Delta IV rocket. The Delta IV is the launch vehicle for the GOES-N satellite, the first of three for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that will provide continuous monitoring necessary for intensive data analysis.
