Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — At Port Canaveral, a tug maneuvers the barge carrying a newly redesigned External Tank (ET-121) toward the dock. The tank is designated for use on Return to Flight mission STS-121. The barge was towed on a 900-mile journey at sea from the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans by NASA’s Solid Rocket Booster Retrieval Ship Freedom Star.
