Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. — At Space Launch Complex 2 on Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, one of three Solid Rocket Boosters is lifted alongside the first stage of a Boeing Delta II rocket for mating. The Boeing Delta II will launch the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA-N) spacecraft. Launch of NOAA-N aboard the Boeing Delta II rocket is currently scheduled for May 11, 2005.
