Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Following the mock countdown on Launch Pad 39B, STS-114 Mission Specialist Charles Camarda reaches for the release of the slidewire basket, used for emergency egress from the Fixed Service Structure. Behind him are Mission Specialists Andrew Thomas and Wendy Lawrence. This is part of the pre-launch training included in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) activities.
