Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — After the conclusion of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) activities at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, STS-114 Commander Eileen Collins briefly talks to media about the importance of the TCDT as pre-launch training. The TCDT provides the crew of each mission an opportunity to participate in various simulated countdown activities, including equipment familiarization and emergency egress training.
