Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — After the conclusion of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) activities at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, STS-114 Mission Specialist Soichi Noguchi speaks to the media about his experiences in his first TCDT. Noguchi is with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. The TCDT provides the crew of each mission an opportunity to participate in various simulated countdown activities, including equipment familiarization and emergency egress training.
