Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — On Launch Complex 37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, the GOES-N spacecraft arrives at the upper level of the launch service tower where the Boeing Delta IV second stage is seen. Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES) are sponsored by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Launch of GOES-N is scheduled for June 23.
