About this work

Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Monica Hagley, an avionic test engineer, places a refurbished, spare orbiter point sensor chassis on the table. Faulty readings in the liquid hydrogen tank low-level fuel cut-off sensor are being investigated because one of the four sensors failed a routine prelaunch check during the launch countdown July 13, causing mission managers to scrub Discovery's first launch attempt.
