Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — In the Operations and Checkout Building at NASA Kennedy Space Center, STS-114 Mission Commander Eileen Collins dons the helmet of her launch and entry suit before heading to the launch pad. Collins is making her fourth space flight on the historic Return to Flight mission STS-114 to the International Space Station. On its second attempt for launch, Discovery is scheduled to lift off at 10:39 a.m. EDT today from Launch Pad 39B.
