CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – In front of the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, technicians monitor the progress as a large crane lowers a fuel tank from crawler-transporter 1 CT-1 in high bay 3 onto a flatbed truck. The fuel tank will be transported to the Wiltech facility at Kennedy for cleaning and inspection. Work continues in high bay 3 to upgrade CT-1 as part of its general maintenance.
