51B-14-038 (29 April-6 May 1985) --- Payload specialist Taylor G. Wang manipulates a 1.5 centimeter diameter sphere in the Drop Dynamics Module (DDM) in the science module aboard the earth-orbiting Space Shuttle Challenger. The photo was taken with a 35mm camera. Dr. Wang is principal investigator for the first-time-to-fly experiment, developed by his team at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California.
