51F-42-058 (29 July-6 Aug 1985) --- This excellent view covers portions of Switzerland, France, and Italy. Lac Leman (Lake of Geneva) is at the center. The valley of the Rhone River can be seen from Tyon (lower left edge) upstream to the Swiss town of Brig. Great Alpine peaks including Mount Blanc, Matterhorn, Monte Rosa,Jungfrau, and Finsteraarhorn can be seen. Famous resorts in the photo include Aosta, Chamonix, Monreux, Laussane, Gstaad, Interlaken, Stresa, and Zermatt.
