About this work

Kirt Stallings, an ER-2 pilot from NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards California, completed a flight in support of the Investigation of Microphysics and Precipitation for Atlantic Coast-Threatening Storms (IMPACTS) mission. The IMPACTS team tracked storms across the Eastern United States to help understand how winter storms form and develop.
