About this work
The cylindrical projections of Jupiter, representing both Voyager 1 (top) and Voyager 2 (bottom), are presented in this comparison. The top picture extends 400 degrees longitude to 0 degrees (right edge). It is aligned with the lower image so that the longitude scale is correct for both frames. The comparison between the pictures shows the relative motions of features in Jupiter's atmosphere.
