P-34692 Range : 500 km. ( 300 miles ) Smallest Resolvable Feature : 900 m. or 2,700 ft. Part of Triton's complex geological history canbe seen in this image, shot by Voyager 2. Part of a sequence, this photograph encompasses two depressions, possibly old impact basins, that have been extensively modified by floodind, melting, faulting, and collapse. Several episodes of filling and partial removal of material appear to have occurred.
