About this work
The water-surrounded expanse of KSC is obvious in this aerial photo. At the center front is the Shuttle Landing Facility's (SLF) parking facility with its mate/demate device on the left corner. Beyond it runs Kennedy Parkway North, a route that passes the Vehicle Assembly Building seen in the upper right corner. At right is the tow-way, connecting the Orbiter Processing Facility with the SLF. Between it and the SLF parking area is the remote launch vehicle hangar, still under construction.
