KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- The STS-97 crew pose for photographers at the base of Launch Pad 39B. They are, left to right, Commander Brent Jett, Pilot Mike Bloomfield and Mission Specialists Carlos Noriega, Marc Garneau and Joe Tanner. Garneau is with the Canadian Space Agency. The crew is at KSC to take part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities that include emergency egress training, familiarization with the payload, and a simulated launch countdown.
