KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- With a crew of five, Space Shuttle Endeavour roars into space in a burst of light in a perfect launch. Liftoff of mission STS-97 occurred on time at 10:06:01 p.m. EST. This sixth construction flight to the International Space Station is transporting the P6 Integrated Truss Structure that comprises Solar Array Wing-3 and the Integrated Electronic Assembly, to provide power to the Space Station.
