STS-92 Commander Brian Duffy, at the microphone, waves to the media after introducing the crew. Standing behind him are Mission Specialists Koichi Wakata, Michael Lopez-Alegria, Jeff Wisoff, Bill McArthur and Leroy Chiao; and Pilot Pam Melroy. The crew is at KSC to take part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) activities. The TCDT includes emergency egress training from the orbiter and pad, plus a simulated countdown.
