STS-92 Pilot Pam Melroy is ready to take her turn driving the M-113, part of emergency egress training during Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) activities. Behind her, waiting to take their turn, are (left to right) Mission Specialist Jeff Wisoff, Commander Brian Duffy, and Mission Specialists Bill McArthur and Michael Lopez-Alegria. The tracked vehicle could be used by the crew in the event of an emergency at the pad during which the crew must make a quick exit from the area.
