About this work
The orbiter Atlantis rolls toward the open door of the Vehicle Assembly Building after leaving the Orbiter Processing Facility bay 3. In the VAB it will be raised to vertical and lifted up and into high bay 3 for stacking with its external tank and solid rocket boosters. Atlantis will fly on mission STS-98, the seventh construction flight to the International Space Station. The orbiter will carry in its payload bay the U.S.
