In the Space Station Processing Facility, the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module Leonardo, suspended from an overhead crane, glides across the room to a payload canister for transfer to Launch Pad 39B and installation in Space Shuttle Discovery. The Leonardo, one of Italy’s major contributions to the International Space Station program, is a reusable logistics carrier. It is the primary delivery system used to resupply and return Station cargo requiring a pressurized environment.
