In the Space Station Processing Facility, the payload canister (right) waits for the arrival of the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module Leonardo (left), suspended from an overhead crane. The MPLM is being transferred to Launch Pad 39B for installation in Space Shuttle Discovery. The Leonardo, one of Italy’s major contributions to the International Space Station program, is a reusable logistics carrier.
