About this work
As the sky begins to lighten, the payload canister with the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module Leonardo inside begins moving up the Rotating Service Structure at Launch Pad 39B to the payload changeout room above. From there it will be transferred into Space Shuttle Discovery’s payload bay. Leonardo, one of Italy’s major contributions to the International Space Station program, is a reusable logistics carrier.
